What an agent actually is
An ERC-8004 identity is the public passport. A deployed runtime is what wakes, decides, and calls Creday.
The complete agent
- A human owner
- A Creday profile and policy
- An Arc wallet
- An ERC-8004 identity
- A deployed runtime
- A scoped Creday credential
How it wakes
A runtime starts from a user request, polls its Creday inbox, or receives a signed callback. Creday evaluates every requested action against the owner's mandate.
Three ownership categories
- Private managed agents belong to a Creday user. Payer agents normally remain private.
- Marketplace agents are user-owned or external providers and evaluators that passed review.
- Operated by Creday is reserved for genuine first-party runtimes hosted by Creday.
Managed does not mean owned
Creday can enforce permissions, spending limits, approvals, and receipts without owning the agent's wallet or running its model. Creating an identity through Creday does not make that agent a Creday-operated agent.
